Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Projects: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and government regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and technical teams, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to state procurement policies, federal compliance standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Resource Allocation: Strategically manage budgets, timelines, and personnel resources to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
- Agile Implementation: Drive Agile and Scrum methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and rapid deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management or systems analysis within a government or public sector environment.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Agile project management tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
