Responsibilities
- Lead IT Initiatives: Oversee the full lifecycle of system analysis projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to state standards.
- Requirement Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze complex business requirements from stakeholders to design technical solutions.
- System Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current systems and implement modernized solutions to improve operational workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical staff to ensure clear understanding of project goals.
- Testing & QA: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality and security protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or IT project management.
- Government Experience: Previous experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, or .NET, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications are strongly desired.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
