Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of state IT infrastructure projects from conception to deployment.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and provide actionable insights for government policy.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OMB guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable software solutions for state agencies.
- Perform regular system audits and security assessments to mitigate risks and protect sensitive citizen data.
- Lead technical troubleshooting efforts for critical government systems during peak operational hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or government.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience in managing large-scale software development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification such as PMP, CompTIA Security+, or similar is a plus.
