Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public and state employees regarding program inquiries and services.
- Process administrative documents accurately and efficiently according to strict state regulations and deadlines.
- Maintain and update confidential records in our secure government database systems.
- Coordinate with interdepartmental teams to ensure seamless service delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries of daily operations and key performance metrics.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable state policies, confidentiality protocols, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a government office, customer service, or administrative support is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with government software (e.g., Texas State Systems) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Integrity: Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for local travel.
