Responsibilities
- Perform routine street maintenance, pothole repairs, and sidewalk inspections
- Operate city vehicles (trucks, mowers, snow removal equipment) safely
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Respond to emergency service calls during weather events
- Maintain public parks, facilities, and green spaces
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
