Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of public works construction projects for code compliance
- Review engineering plans and specifications for accuracy

- Prepare detailed inspection reports and violation notices
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city departments
- Test construction materials for quality assurance
- Enforce federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years construction inspection experience
- Valid California Inspector certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification
- Strong knowledge of California building codes
- Excellent written communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work in outdoor environments
