Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects for compliance with city codes and blueprints
- Review engineering plans and specifications before project commencement
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city departments to resolve issues
- Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations
- Manage project documentation and permit processes
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years construction inspection experience
- Valid California Inspector Certification (QAC/CIT/CEC)
- Knowledge of California building codes and OSHA standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read complex engineering blueprints
- Valid California driver's license
- Proficiency with inspection software (e.g., Accela, FieldLens)
- US citizenship or legal resident status required
