Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA security standards across all systems.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal personnel and stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions for State and Local projects.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance tuning.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GSEC preferred; familiarity with DoD IAM levels is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and firewall configuration (Cisco/Juniper).
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) within a federal environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with government clients.
