Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to government facilities to ensure strict adherence to security protocols.
- Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior premises to identify and address potential security risks.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, logging any anomalies or suspicious activities immediately.
- Verify the identity of visitors, vendors, and employees, issuing appropriate badges or access passes.
- Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, or emergencies, following established emergency response procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and facility management to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
