Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently

- Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and compliance issues

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public works, construction, or related field
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., dump trucks, loaders) with proper certification
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
