Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of public parks, streets, and recreational facilities
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Assist in emergency response during extreme weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhere to all municipal safety regulations and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year experience in landscaping or public maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment maintenance
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Clean background check and pre-employment drug screening required
