Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures to protect against cyber threats.
- Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond immediately to security incidents.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards, including NIST and FedRAMP requirements.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless security integration across all departments.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior IT staff regarding security best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Security or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and subnetting.
- Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 security operations environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance eligibility.
