Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in roadway maintenance, drainage system repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on stormwater management and green infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment inspection records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and background screening
- Experience with concrete work or utility maintenance a plus
- Must possess reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte
