Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers) and hand tools safely
- Assist in street repair, sidewalk maintenance, and storm drain clearance operations
- Support park landscaping, irrigation systems, and recreational facility upkeep
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure concerns to supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA and city safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal labor
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
