Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including pothole patching, street sweeping, and snow removal.
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and snowplows.
- Assist with traffic control, flagging, and directing vehicles on job sites.
- Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and bulk items from public streets.
- Inspect and maintain public infrastructure, including sidewalks and curbs.
- Perform general maintenance duties at City facilities and parks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License (Class C).
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
