Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dump trucks, graders) for construction and maintenance projects
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, paving, and debris removal
- Install and repair public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations in all tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work in diverse weather conditions to ensure project continuity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction machinery
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
