Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, paving, and asphalt patching.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as backhoes, dump trucks, and rollers.
- Assist with snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Maintain streets, sidewalks, and public facilities to ensure safety and accessibility.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and municipal protocols.
- Load and unload construction materials and debris.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members on site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safety procedures.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
