Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and sidewalk repair
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) under supervision
- Assist in traffic control and site safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure projects
- Document daily work progress and material usage
- Respond to emergency repairs during inclement weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Background check clearance required
