Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, paving, and landscaping tasks
- Conduct routine infrastructure inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Maintain accurate work logs and project documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Residency in Saint Paul or surrounding metro area preferred
