Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance and public facility repairs
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently (backhoes, graders, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Participate in emergency response and stormwater management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Maintain accurate work records and equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Experience with construction tools and equipment operation
- Basic knowledge of public works infrastructure systems
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
