Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, tampers, and basic hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in roadway maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain clearing operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in diverse environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Document daily work activities and maintain equipment in proper working condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
- Previous laborer or construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliable punctuality
