Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail & Packages: Transport and distribute mail and parcels to residential and business customers along an assigned route in a safe and timely manner.
- Mail Casing: Prepare and organize mail and packages in the vehicle before beginning the route.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, answer inquiries, and resolve issues regarding missed deliveries or service requests.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy parcels, walking long distances, and operating a motor vehicle in various weather conditions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, the public, and the mail.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read addresses clearly.
