Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along a designated route in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize incoming mail and packages before delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle inquiries regarding mail services.
- Maintain accurate records of mail and service status, including missed deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure the security of mail and prevent loss or damage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and postal policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme heat.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
