Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail according to established delivery routes and priorities.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and address changes.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles (if applicable to rural routes).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and postal policies while on duty.
- Handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy parcels and walking extended distances throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License (for City Carrier Associate positions).
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
