Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming mail and packages accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses along an assigned route using a postal vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and resolve concerns.
- Collect and process payments for CODs and accountable mail.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area.
- Follow all safety regulations and postal procedures while on the road.
- Perform duties in all weather conditions as required by the job.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have legal alien status.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) required.
- Pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Good vision and the ability to read mail labels and addresses clearly.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
