Job Overview
As a City Carrier, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of mail to residential and business customers within a designated route. You will play a vital role in keeping our community connected.
Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages in the delivery sequence.
- Deliver mail to customers on foot or using a delivery vehicle.
- Collect and process payments for C.O.D. items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions.
- Handle undeliverable mail according to postal regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status required.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
