Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and process mail efficiently before and after delivery.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers while delivering mail.
- Collect and process payments for CODs, C.O.D.s, and Cancellations.
- Perform physical activities including walking, bending, lifting, and carrying packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Operate a motor vehicle (car or van) safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws.
- Ensure the safety and security of the mail in your care at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, carrying, and walking long distances in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screening.
