Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route.
- Collect and process payments for postage-due and C.O.D. items.
- Operate a delivery vehicle (van) and/or walk the route as required by local conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle mail with the utmost care.
- Follow all postal safety regulations and operational procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to uniform and appearance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods, as well as climb stairs and curbs.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Commercial Class B may be required depending on the position).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
