Responsibilities
- Sort and Deliver: Sort mail and packages efficiently before and after delivery routes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Route Management: Navigate established delivery routes on foot or via an approved vehicle, ensuring all stops are completed.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, handle packages with care, and manage mail box keys and access as required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle, following all safety regulations and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict security protocols regarding the handling of sensitive mail and access to secure facilities.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting packages up to 70 lbs, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident alien.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
