Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route.
- Sort and organize mail in the vehicle or on the route efficiently.
- Obtain signatures for certified, registered, and certified mail.
- Notify customers of missing or undeliverable items and manage return to sender processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for yourself and the public.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations, security procedures, and performance standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess a valid permanent resident alien status.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C) with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent physical stamina for walking, standing, and bending throughout the day.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to operate delivery equipment.
- Ability to read and write English clearly.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible to work overtime.
