Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an established city route in all weather conditions
- Operate and maintain postal vehicles following safety protocols
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Provide excellent customer service at residences and businesses
- Complete delivery scanning and documentation requirements
- Handle special mail categories (certified, registered, parcels)
- Perform route adjustments during carrier absences
- Adhere to USPS policies and security procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Physical stamina for extended walking and standing
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
