Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an established route in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize mail prior to delivery to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering inquiries and resolving delivery issues as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all parcels are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain the exterior of the delivery vehicle and ensure the uniform is neat and professional.
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws while operating a vehicle.
- Collect and process fees for COD (Cash on Delivery) items as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien (Green Card holder).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid state driver's license is required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Good vision (with or without glasses) and ability to distinguish colors.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
