Responsibilities
- Sort, bundle, and organize incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Load and unload mail from vehicles, including walking routes and delivery trucks.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Observe all safety regulations while operating vehicles and handling mail.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve service issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries and package handling.
- Ensure the security and preservation of mail in transit.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or national status.
- Valid state driver's license (required for route carrier positions).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
