Responsibilities
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers on an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and process incoming mail, including packages, Certified Mail, and registered letters.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving inquiries regarding delivery issues.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and mail handling equipment in clean and safe working condition.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and operational procedures while on the route.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently to ensure accuracy during delivery.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
