Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses in a timely manner.
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customers on the route.
- Operate delivery vehicles and maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Interact with customers in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking long distances daily.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- Valid driver's license (for City Carrier Assistant positions).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and a physical examination.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
