Responsibilities
- Sort, bundle, and load mail and parcels onto delivery vehicles for efficient distribution.
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along assigned routes in a safe and timely manner.
- Obtain signatures and collect payments for C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and address changes.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) and walking long distances in all weather conditions.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving delivery vehicles.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
- Physically fit to perform the essential duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and walking.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
