Responsibilities
- Sort, bundle, and load mail and packages onto delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along an assigned route in a timely manner.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, letters, and packages.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain the security of the mail in your care and adhere to all USPS safety protocols.
- Perform physical duties including lifting packages up to 70 lbs and walking/driving long distances in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess the legal right to work in the United States.
- Valid Driver's License (required for vehicle operation).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
