Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming mail and packages with speed and accuracy using automated sorting equipment.
- Deliver mail along established routes in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area, sorting facilities, and assigned vehicle.
- Follow all postal safety regulations, operational procedures, and traffic laws while driving.
- Handle package handling duties, including lifting and sorting heavy items.
- Stay updated on changes in postal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
