Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along an assigned route in all weather conditions.
- Collect and process postage due payments and return undeliverable mail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and postal regulations at all times.
- Perform light maintenance on delivery vehicles and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or a lawful permanent resident alien.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D) with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods, often in various weather conditions.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
