Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Efficiently sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail according to established routes and guidelines.
- Deliver Mail: Transport mail to designated residences and businesses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely load and unload mail and packages from delivery vehicles and trailers.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with the public and resolve inquiries regarding mail delivery.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sorting machines and vehicles.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Valid License: Possess a valid driver's license (for Carrier positions).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects and meet physical job requirements.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
