Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Load and unload mail and packages onto delivery vehicles.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses in a timely manner.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service at the service counter when required.
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.
- Adhere to time standards to ensure efficient mail processing.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (CDL not always required for entry-level, but a standard driver's license is necessary for delivery duties).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the day.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
