Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail accurately and efficiently according to postal standards.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering inquiries and resolving service issues.
- Load and unload mail from delivery vehicles, ensuring safety and organization.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of mail and packages throughout the process.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while operating a vehicle.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Valid driver's license (required for carrier positions).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
