Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring packages are handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers in a timely manner.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering inquiries.
- Operate various mail processing equipment and vehicles safely.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required depending on the craft.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
