Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with precision and compliance
- Manage confidential veteran medical records using VA systems
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and outreach programs
- Assist with veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Prepare correspondence and reports using Microsoft Office Suite
- Support data entry and record-keeping in VA databases
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure veteran needs are met
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with veteran services or federal systems preferred
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
