Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze medical records, military service documents, and supporting evidence
- Communicate claim decisions to veterans via written correspondence and phone calls
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal teams for complex cases
- Maintain detailed case documentation in federal systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Participate in ongoing training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in claims processing or healthcare documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and federal case management systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy
- Clear communication skills (verbal/written)
