Responsibilities
- Process and verify veterans' benefit applications with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve complex benefit issues
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare programs
- Provide in-person and virtual support to veterans during intake sessions
- Maintain confidential case files in compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with community organizations to expand outreach efforts
- Prepare detailed reports on program performance and veteran needs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in veterans services or federal programs
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience with case management software and data analysis
