Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability compensation claims with 95% accuracy
- Provide comprehensive benefits counseling to veterans and dependents
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA healthcare and education programs
- Collaborate with medical professionals to support disability evaluations
- Maintain detailed case records in VA's electronic systems
- Conduct outreach events to educate veterans on available benefits
- Adhere to strict federal privacy and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Texas driver's license (if travel required)
- Pass federal background investigation
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
