Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Lead interdisciplinary care teams in developing individualized veteran treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide specialized care in oncology, cardiology, or mental health as assigned
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior nursing staff and clinical interns
- Respond to emergency situations with clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- BSN or higher degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years clinical experience in acute care settings
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- VA experience or federal background preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear background investigation and security clearance
