Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to veteran patients in primary care and specialty settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
- Supervise medical staff and train residents/medical students
- Ensure compliance with VA regulations and healthcare standards
- Lead community outreach programs for veteran healthcare awareness
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid medical license in Wisconsin
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in VA or federal healthcare
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA medical staff privileges
- Strong knowledge of veteran-specific healthcare needs
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- US Citizenship required
