Responsibilities
- Process and manage veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate healthcare access and rehabilitation services for veterans
- Conduct eligibility assessments for VA programs and compensation
- Develop personalized care plans for veterans with complex needs
- Collaborate with medical providers and community partners
- Maintain detailed case records in VA systems
- Provide crisis intervention for urgent veteran situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in veteran services or federal benefits administration
- VA claims processing certification preferred
- Proficiency in VA IT systems (VBA, VISTA, VBMS)
- Knowledge of federal regulations (38 CFR, PL 115-56)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
